The city of Aurora has 30 boards, commissions, committees and/or authorities composed of resident volunteers appointed by the Aurora City Council.
A resident's point of view provides valuable insight to the operations of the city and council's decision-making process. The job of boards and commissions members is crucial to the success of Aurora's representative government. New and existing operations are reviewed and an appropriate course of action is suggested to city management and the city council.
Everyone is welcome to attend a meeting. You do not need to be a member.
