Because of a power outage and resulting equipment failures affecting city services, some Aurora city facilities are temporarily closed to the public Friday, Aug. 2, and will reopen after services are restored. Below are changes to operations at city facilities; if a facility is not noted, assume operations are as normal. Thank you for your patience, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

• Aurora Public Library - Central Library, Hoffman Heights Library, Martin Luther King Jr. Library and Mission Viejo Library are back to full service. Tallyn's Reach Library has partial services Friday. Chambers Plaza Library and Iliff Square Library are closed Friday.
